Aduin Fest 2025: From Sound to Screen the art of conventional advertising on digital media

Yogyakarta (22/05), Aduin Fest 2025 again organized the annual event “From Voice to Screen the art of conventional advertising on digital media” in 2025. This activity is a forum for students to be able to explore the art of advertising through conventional means in today's digital era so that they can improve their abilities in the field of advertising.

The event, which was held at the Convention Hall, 2nd floor of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, was attended by the Head of Communication Science, Dr. Mokhamad Mahfud and the ranks of Communication Science lecturers. Aduin Fest presented very interesting speakers, namely Nicky Shaquilla as content creator and Announcer Swaragama FM, and Dena Isni Pasha as Illustrator Mojok.co.

“Students are expected to learn basic advertising to be able to further develop skills starting from the basic science of advertising so that practice in the field will run smoothly to be able to raise your personal branding and your corporate”, said the Head of Communication Science Department, Dr. Mokhamad Mahfud, S.Sos.I. M.Si.

Nicky explained about how to advertise a product by giving references to interesting Voice over that can be used as examples. He also explained and gave examples of produced spots, Radio Adlips, Produced flash Spot, Time signal, Sponsorship Program, and Radio Talkshow. creativity is the key to how to apply advertising and audio techniques in advertising in building audience trust.

Pasha Dena explained about writing and illustrators that can affect the reception of the audience starting from illustrators from Tempo, National Geograpic, and Mojok.co. each media has different characteristics and depends on how the branding of the media. The visual form is very important for the range of acceptance which if associated with the state of the surrounding environment as in the example when the arrest of the band Sukatani Mojok illustrators immediately uploaded illustrative content about Sukatani which caused the rise of news about the band Sukatani. He also added that the challenge in the world of illustrators today is AI which is starting to penetrate and disturb the creative world a little, but we as people who live in this day and age should not be anti but must be able to adjust and use it wisely.

“The art of conventional media advertising with old ways and paying attention to the code of ethics, ethics, and norms in advertising aims to anticipate hoaxes, and show conventional advertising strategies that are no less interesting and can coexist in the digital media era,” said Abdurahman Hafis as the chief executive of Aduin Fest 2025.

“The hope of this activity is to be able to gain useful knowledge related to the art of conventional advertising in the digital era that can be applied in the world of advertising and also as a reference picture for students who have enthusiasm in the field of advertising,” said Aufa Helga Ramdhani as Chairman of the Aduin fest 2025 Committee.
