Festival Aduin 2021 Holds Creative Seminar "Self Branding" with NKSTHI Book Author Buku

Mas Aik is the author of the popular book "Later We Sambat About Today"
2018 Communication Science students held a creative seminar entitled Self Branding. Who Are You? You Are Your Own Brand on Saturday afternoon, June 19, 2021. This event is one of a series of activities for this year's Aduin Creative Festival. The seminar, which was attended by more than a hundred participants, was held online through the Zoom Meeting application due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The webinar was not only attended by Communication Studies students, but also students from various campuses in Indonesia in general. This event is a form of real action and student sympathy in responding to existing problems and as part of the big theme of Aduin 2021 Afæction. The theme is a combination of two verbs "affection" which means affection, and "action" which means real action.
This event was also attended by Muhrisun Afandi, M.SW as chairman of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Dr. Mochammad Sodik, M.Sc., Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Sulistyaningsih, M.Sc., Deputy Dean for Administration and Finance Dr. Yani Tri Wijayanti, M.Sc., Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation Dr. Badrun Alaena M.Sc., Head of Communication Studies Program, Dr. Rama Kertamukti, M.Sn., Secretary of the Communication Studies Program Dr. Diah Ajeng Purwani, M.Sc., Aduin Festival 2021 builder Tariq Yazid, MA, and several other lecturers.
Burhanudin Shidqi Hasbullah, as chairman of the 2021 Aduin Festival committee, started his remarks by expressing his gratitude to all parties who had participated. Burhan explained that the main agenda of the Aduin Festival was the Creative Advertising Competition. The second speech was from the festival supervisor, who also expressed his gratitude to those who had participated and supported the entire series of activities. Furthermore, remarks from the Head of the Communication Studies Program, Dr. Rama Kertamukti, M.Sn., who delivered the message, "Have fun and always be creative, creative is sunnah."
In this creative talk, Aduin Festival invited Muhammad Ihsan Purnama Putra as a resource person. The creative actor who is fondly called Mas Aik is the author of the popular book "Later We Sambat About Today". besides that he is also a creative director at the Sahabat Sambat Union.
Based on the theme of this seminar, Mas Aik said that personal branding is as natural and consistent as possible. He also told how his career journey until he became a person who was confident in selling his work. According to him, the key to the stage called selling or producing something from what is told is about how a person learns to be himself.
"If it's so good, the engagement will automatically follow," he said. From the stories or things that are liked that will then create brand opportunities. In addition, the most important thing from creating a brand is sustainability. According to him being consistent is important. Therefore, in building a brand, it is necessary to carry good values that continue to be carried out. And for him, it was a long process.
"How to treat empathy by interacting, what values do you want to fight for," added Mas Aik.
From his experience creating brands, he was originally a graphic designer who studied personal branding, until he ventured into social media expertise.
