On February 27, 2024, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Communication Science Study Program held a workshop with the theme Outcome-Based Education (OBE). This workshop was attended by students and teaching staff by inviting a guest lecturer who is an expert in the field, namely Dr. Nindi Aristi, M.Comn.

This workshop became a very useful forum for all participants. Dr. Nindi Aristi, with her extensive expertise and experience, gave a deep insight into the concept of OBE and its application in the context of education in Communication Science. She not only discussed the theory in general, but also provided real examples and relevant case studies to clarify the concepts discussed.

One of the most memorable things about this workshop was the interactive and inclusive approach applied by Dr. Nindi Aristi. She gave each participant the opportunity to discuss, ask questions, and share experiences related to the implementation of OBE in the field. This not only created a friendly and open atmosphere, but also allowed participants to gain a deeper understanding through the exchange of ideas and experiences.

In addition, the workshop also provided a platform for participants to identify challenges and opportunities in implementing OBE in the Communication Science education environment. Discussions on effective implementation strategies and measurement of learning outcomes were also an important part of the deliberations, which provided valuable insights for participants to develop a curriculum that is relevant and responsive to the needs of students and industry.
