UIN Sunan Kalijaa Communication Studies Program held an Annual Work Meeting 2024. This event is an important momentum for teachers, stakeholders, and education staff to gather, discuss, and plan strategic steps in the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education in the Communication Studies Program.

With the theme "Building Synergy for a Champion Future", this Annual Work Meeting aims to identify challenges, formulate strategies, and establish work programs that will be carried out during 2024 in order to improve the quality of education, research, and community service in the field of Communication Science.

Dr. Rama Kertamukti, M.Sn, as the Head of the Communication Studies Program revealed, "The Annual Work Meeting is a very important platform for all elements of the Communication Studies Program to collaborate, share ideas, and develop action plans that will take us towards a brighter and more sustainable future, especially in designing the 2024 curriculum.

"The event was attended by all lecturers, stakeholders, and education staff of the Communication Studies Program, as well as representatives from related stakeholders, including representatives from industry, government agencies, and communities.For one full day, the participants of this Annual Work Meeting engaged in a series of discussion activities, presentations. Participants discussed various strategic topics, including:

Curriculum Strengthening: Evaluation and refinement of the Communication Studies Program curriculum to adjust to the latest developments in the fields of communication, technology, and media.

Research Development: Identification of the latest research trends in Communication Science as well as the development of strategies to improve the productivity and quality of research in the Study Program.

Learning Quality Improvement: Planning and implementation of various teaching capacity building activities, including lecturer training, active learning workshops, and the use of technology in learning.

Student Empowerment: Development of extracurricular programs and activities that can increase student involvement and skills in the academic and industrial world.

Industry Cooperation: Strengthening cooperation with industry and related institutions to increase the relevance of study programs to labor market needs and employment opportunities for graduates.The results of this Annual Work Meeting will be the basis for developing a strategic plan for the Communication Science Study Program for 2024.

The Secretary of the Study Program, Dr Fatma Dian Pratiwi added, "We hope that the results of this Annual Working Meeting will be a strong foundation for the Communication Science Study Program to continue to grow and make a significant contribution to society and industry."The 2024 Annual Work Meeting of the Communication Science Study Program reflects the commitment of the Communication Science Study Program of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta in providing quality education and contributing to the development of science and the advancement of society through the Tridharma of Higher Education.
