YOGYAKARTA – The Communication Science Study Program dispatched a delegation to attend the Self-Evaluation Report (SER) Preparation Workshop, initiated by the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) of UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The event took place over two days, from Monday to Tuesday, November 24–25, 2025, at the Grand Rohan Hotel, Jogja.

Together with representatives from 24 other study programs across the university, the Communication Science team focused on examining the international accreditation standards set by ACQUIN. This initiative underscores the study program's serious commitment to enhancing academic quality and aligning its standards with global qualifications.

During the sessions, the forum featured Jejen Jaenudin, S.Ag., M.Ed. Led., Ph.D., the Head of the Center for Quality Standards Development at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, as the keynote speaker. Participants received intensive guidance on the technical aspects of drafting the SER document, with a specific focus on sections 1.1 and 1.2, which serve as the foundation of the report.

The Communication Science delegation was led directly by the Head of the Study Program, Dr. Mokhamad Mahfud, S.Sos.I., M.Si., accompanied by the Secretary of the Study Program, Alip Kunandar, S.Sos., M.Si.. Also in attendance were lecturers serving on the SER technical drafting team: Tariq Yazid, S.I.Kom., M.A., and Kurnia Indasah, S.Kom.I., M.A.

Active participation in this workshop is expected to accelerate the completion of an accurate and comprehensive self-evaluation document, ensuring the study program is fully prepared for the upcoming international accreditation visitation. (K.Ind)
