A Valedictorian with a Myriad of National Achievements: an inspiring story of Fanesa Oktavia

Yogyakarta, (28/05) - In a solemn atmosphere, the Open Senate Session of Graduation Period III Academic Year 2024/2025 in the Multi Purpose Building, State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta gave a special award to Fanesa Oktavia, a student of the Communication Studies Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, as the Best and Fastest Graduate. With great diligence, Fanesa completed her undergraduate studies in 3 years 4 months and 3 days, achieving a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.90. This achievement reflects his dedication and high learning spirit, as well as his exceptional time management skills.

Born in Kubang Tungkek on October 23, 2002, Fanesa is the daughter of Mr. Yusrizel. Since childhood, she has been known to be diligent and passionate about her studies. During her studies, she not only focused on academics, but was also active in various student activities, showing that academic achievement can be achieved without neglecting positive contributions in the surrounding environment. The awards received by Fanesa are not just a symbol of personal success, but also a reflection of the support of family and the environment that supports his academic journey. Fanesa is also known as a national achievement student. He won:

  1. 3rd place in the national poetry creation and reading competition (CSSMoRA UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, 2021).
  2. 1st place in Issue Management Competition of Party of PR at the national level (2022).
  3. 1st place in Scientific Writing Competition of IPtI EXPO UIN Imam Bonjol Padang (2023).

In addition, Fanesa is prolific in scientific publications, with works such as:

  2. Anthology of Environmental Crisis (2023).
  3. Innovative research such as "Digital Transformation: History Learning Innovation through TikTok-learning".
  4. Study of student mental health issues related to the FoMO phenomenon and suicide content on TikTok.
