Get to know Akarsana Digital PR Comonitations Agency: PR Consultant in IKOM Student Activities
Jakarta, Nov28, 2024, Communication Science Study Program of State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta carried out Student Activity activities as an effort to improve students' skills in seeing the world of communication work. This activity was attended by three batches including batches 2022, 2023 and 2024 with several lecturers and tendik as companions and directors.
This activity began with visiting Akarsana Digital Comonitations Agency, which is owned by alumni of the Communication Science study program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This agency focuses on public relations consultants who have held many large partners, such as PTN UGM, UNPAD, Unisula, ministries and government agencies, as well as a network of partners both press and private television stations. The visit to Akarsana is considered appropriate especially for PR concentration students because Akarsana focuses on building a professional PR management strategy as explained by Turbagus Dudy as Founder & CEO.
During the meeting, the Head of Communication Science Department, Dr. Mokhamad Mahfud, S.Sos.i., M.Si conveyed a message to the participants. "I am also proud and touched, Mas Dudy is a proud alumni and later fellow students can be motivated to be like him, we also hope that this activity will be the first round of our cooperation in developing PR science, especially for students who want to study at K3 later," he said. The activity continued with the delivery of material about PR by Shafira Aqila as Akarsana's senior consultant.
IKOM Student Activity to Jakarta communication industry visits are able to expand the network of cooperation in the field of communication, strengthen academic relationships and communication work study opportunities, and provide valuable experience for all participants. With the implementation of this activity, it is hoped that it can become a sustainable program that has a positive impact in supporting student lectures, both advertising and public relations concentrations.
