Yogyakarta Muslim Influencers Discuss Creative Digital Movement at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Digital Literacy Workshop

Yogyakarta, November 6, 2024 – The Digital Creative Movement Study Center of UIN Sunan Kalijaga held a Digital Literacy Workshop titled Exploration of Creative Digital Movements on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. The event took place in the Multimedia Room of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at UIN Sunan Kalijaga, bringing together Yogyakarta’s Muslim influencers as participants.

Dr. Hj. Diah Ajeng Purwani, M.Si, Head of the Digital Creative Movement Study Center, delivered an opening speech and welcomed the enthusiastic participants. The event was then officially opened by Dr. H. Rama Kertamukti, M.Sn, Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, who represented the Dean, Dr. Erika Setyanti Kusumaputri, M.Si, who was unable to attend.

The workshop featured a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) format, beginning with a presentation by Dr. H. Rama Kertamukti, M.Sn, who introduced key topics. His material covered the roles, trends, impacts, and opportunities available to student influencers. The discussion sessions were held in both the Multimedia Room and the Sociology Graduate Lecture Room of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Participants were divided into four groups, each facilitated by UIN Sunan Kalijaga lecturers, including Dr. Hj. Diah Ajeng Purwani, M.Si, Fajar Iqbal, M.Si, Agus Saputro, M.Si, and Nanang Mizwar Hasyim Ahmad, M.Kom.I. During these sessions, participants actively exchanged views, shared experiences, and explored ideas on creating a digital movement that could benefit the broader community.

The discussions were lively and filled with enthusiasm, with fresh ideas emerging from each participant. Agus Saputro, M.Si, Secretary of the Digital Creative Movement Study Center, closed the event with a review of the discussion outcomes and expressed appreciation for the participants’ creativity and contributions.

This event provided a platform for young influencers to inspire each other in creating positive and meaningful content. The hope is that this collaboration will not only enrich participants’ insights but also foster a spirit of innovation, leading to impactful and creative digital movements for the wider community.
