Yogyakarta, March 10, 2025 – Communication Science Study Program, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta successfully held an International Seminar Series with Prof. Sabine Brombach as a speaker who is also a guest lecturer from SES (Senior Expert Service), Germany. The event, which was held in Prof. Sabine's room, provided in-depth insight into higher education management and the importance of accreditation for academic institutions.
In a discussion guided by one of the lecturers of Communication Sciences, Durrotul Mas'udah, M.A., Prof. Sabine shared her experience as a dean at a university in Germany. She emphasized that university accreditation is not just a formality, but a key factor in increasing the credibility and competitiveness of institutions.
"Accreditation is an important thing not only for universities, but also for students and employees. They will be proud if the university has good accreditation," said Prof. Sabine in a discussion session.
Several lecturers also attended this event, including the Head of the Communication Science Study Program, Dr. Mokhamad Mahfud, S.Sos.I. M.Si. who actively participate in discussions and Q&A. They gain new insights into best practices in academic management and strategies to improve the quality of higher education. In closing, Prof. Sabine Brombach expressed her hope that the Communication Studies Study Program would continue to maintain the Excellent accreditation that had been achieved. Accreditation is not just an administrative achievement, but a proof of the university's commitment to providing quality education for students and educators. (red)
